And we're out...

A house full of toys and she is crying??? Maybe she knows she is leaving Bremerton...
We officially left Bremerton yesterday.  I remember first moving to Bremerton, regretting that Morgan picked this God forsaken place.  After 4 years, I’ve actually grown a fondness for that place.  More for the people, I’m guessing.  We built strong friendships and memories for a lifetime.  It’s the place where Amelia spent her first year of life, where she took her first steps and uttered her first words.  It’s kind of sad to think that years from now, she’ll have no recollection of Bremerton.  Yet it held so many milestones for her.  Packing up the house was a little bit sad, even after all the trouble its given us.  Nonetheless it was our first home Morgan and I bought, even though it was small it was a great accomplishment for us at our young ages.  The house being empty made it all seem real, we’re leaving the country.  We piled Amelia’s toys in what used to be the living room and let her have at it, one last time in our first home.  Our first home….I always refer to San Diego as my hometown, I was born and raised there….I love it there.  But after all is said and done I kind of consider Bremerton a hometown too.  The home of the smallest Indian Reservation, Sir-Mix-A lot, and one of the largest shipyards. .. cheers to you B-Town…thanks for the memories.
